No dia 30 de maio, a Associação AMA A VIDA organizou uma Caminhada Urbana Solidária pelas ruas da cidade
de Fafe.
Para se inscreverem, os participantes contribuíram com um bem alimentar não perecível ou um item de
higiene pessoal, além de 3 euros, valor que reverteu a favor da missão em Benguela. Em troca, receberam um
saco/mochila com o logótipo da associação, uma garrafa de água e uma barra de cereais, para apoio durante o
percurso.
O evento teve início com momentos de animação proporcionados por um DJ e uma professora de ginástica e
dança, como forma de aquecimento antes da caminhada começar. A caminhada passou por vários locais
emblemáticos da cidade, incluindo a Casa da Cultura, onde houve uma apresentação da Tia Paula, a Praça da
Justiça, com uma performance de Jogo do Pau, e o Jardim do Calvário, onde teve lugar uma demonstração de
karaté.
O percurso incluiu ainda visitas ao Museu do Rali, à Estação da Memória e terminou na Câmara Municipal, onde
o Grupo de Cavaquinhos de Fafe animou os participantes, seguido de breves discursos de um representante da
autarquia e da presidente da Associação AMA A VIDA, encerrando com um forte espírito de comunidade e
solidariedade.
On May 30, the AMA A VIDA Association organized a Solidarity Urban Walk through the streets of the city of Fafe.
To register, participants were asked to contribute with a non-perishable food item or a personal hygiene product, in
addition to a €3 fee, which was donated to support the mission in Benguela. In return, they received a backpack with
the association’s logo, a bottle of water, and a cereal bar to support them during the walk.
The event began with lively moments of warm-up entertainment provided by a DJ and a fitness and dance
instructor, before the walk officially started. The route passed by several emblematic places in the city, including the
Casa da Cultura, where a performance by Tia Paula took place, the Praça da Justiça, which featured a Jogo do Pau
demonstration, and the Jardim do Calvário, where a karate demonstration was held.
The walk also included visits to the Rally Museum and the Memory Station, and ended at the City Hall, where the
Fafe Cavaquinho Group performed for the participants. This was followed by brief speeches from a municipal
representative and the president of the AMA A VIDA Association, closing the event in a spirit of community and
solidarity.
